We stand against racism and injustice.
At Lithotype Company, we are grieving with the Asian American community and all victims of the senseless shootings in Georgia. We stand in solidarity with the Asian American community in accordance with our core values of honesty, respect and integrity. These horrific crimes against our fellow Americans should remind us that disregarding and downplaying bigotry helps it thrive. Data released this week shows nearly 4,000 firsthand reports of violence against Asian Americans since March of last year. We have to turn back the tide of hatred and violence that has accompanied the Coronavirus pandemic.
At our South San Francisco and Chicago locations, we are witness to many repercussions of a long history of racism and xenophobic scapegoating of Asian American citizens. This has resulted in unprovoked violence to older Asian Americans on the streets, leading to deaths and injuries.
As a company, we stand for non-violence and encourage diversity. Please let us know any ideas you have to help us eliminate any bigotry at Lithotype…all our employees are valued and need to work in an environment free of fear.
